Out of the 4 main luxury makes, only 3 of them have Supercars, with the 4th releasing its supercar sometime in 2013. The 4th being BMW which is releasing the M8 http://www.speedlux.com/bmw-prepares-m8-supercar/ a 4 Seater Hybrid Supercar.

Audi has the R8 5.2. A Supercar with the Base MSRP of $147,500, with 525 Horsepower and a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds.

BMW will have the M8. A Supercar with the Base MSRP of $196,000, with 600 Horsepower and a 0-60 time of 3.8 seconds.

Lexus has the LFA. A Supercar with the Base MSRP of $375,000, with 552 Horsepower and a 0-60 time of 3.6 seconds.

Mercedes has the SLS AMG. A Supercar with the Base MSRP of $183,000, with 563 Horsepower and a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds.

From these 4 Supercars, which do you find more appealing? Which Luxury make do you believe did it best and which did it worst? Also, from these 4, which are you most impressed by, and which would you take?

Personally, for appealing, the LFA looks the nicest. BMW will do it best, since its a Hybrid Supercar that seats 4 people, I think Lexus did it worst with that $375,000 pricetag.

I think I'm impressed by all of them to some extent, and I wouldn't know which to take.

Right now, I don't know if you can include the M8 because it's still over 2 years away... so perhaps substitute the M6 because you can purchase it today. That would effectively eliminate BMW.

That said, all the LFAs are accounted for, personally the SLS' look isn't my style and just re-watched Battle of the Supercars where the V10 R8 5.2 quattro held it's own against the LFA (draw on 4 events). At 1/2 the price.....

If the LFA were $200K and Lexus made more, put a check down for me... but neither is reality.

I think over all the LFA is the most impressive of the bunch, but if I had the money to buy any of them the Audi R8 would be my choice simply because I think the engine is in the right position. Just my personal preference.

i'm on the fence between the R8 and LFA. not a fan of how the sls amg looks. can't vote for something that isn't even produced yet, so that rules out the m8. i've always liked the R8's exterior and that exhaust note from a dig is insane. the LFA is entirely more exclusive, and partially justifiably so with the pricing. numbers don't really mean that much. 3.7 vs 3.6 in a 0-60 is nothing more than bragging rights. but the prestige of owning any of these vehicles is a phenomenal feeling, so there really can't be a wrong answer among the three that's available already.

They're all great.

But as a track car, the LFA is most purposeful. Not the best, but the most track worthy.

Agreed. I'd take a v12 Vantage over an LFA anyday. The LFA probably performs better, but it's nowhere near is beautiful as the Aston.

I'll probaly taken any Ferrari or V12 Aston over any of those cars but if I had to choose I probaly would take the Audi R8.
