FWIW, the CT 300h trademark is dead and has been for some time.

Good points, but the main draw to the RXh is that it allows one to erase the common drawback of an SUV- poor gas mileage. The regular ES does not come with an automatic mileage deficit. It's already a decently economical luxury sedan. Adding a hybrid would only add some green to an already green vehicle. In other words, there's less of a hybrid advantage or need for it with the ES compared to the RX.

I dunno bud. I believe both the ES and RX 350 get about 22 MpG avg.

So 450h bumps that to 30 MPG with 295hp.

I figure a 300h will bump to 33-35mpg easy with around 220hp

With you 100%. 2.5L V6 hybrid would be totally awesome

The 4 cylinders harshness is so not Lexus.

Should be. Hopefully Toyota carried over the weight loss programme to the ES. (and we'll add it all back with the panoramic glass roof, nav, premium leather, radar cruise )
