Not feeling the matte look at all. On an ES its like a crime. I still havent been able to wrap my head around this matte trend. Makes the car look like it had a ton of shotty body work. When I think of this stuff I think of people like my mom or brother who are not car people. They would look at the car and think it had been totaled and is a salvaged car. Matte works for race cars and thats about it in my book

i call it the primer look. on a fixed up car, it looks like they couldnt afford to finish the rest of the car. like you said, it's half a$$ed paint job.

Glad to hear I am not alone. I usually am on this topic. The way I look at is simple. A car's paint is its most visible asset. Matte paint makes the car look like it has issues. BIG issues.
To each his own but there is no way in hell I would do matte paint on my car , let alone my bicycle. lol

Hey Mike, do you guys have any ES350 project cars? If you do, please post some pics on your Facebook Page! Most of the cars you guys post are performance cars like M3, CLS, etc.
and
- what do you think about wrapping my ES in matte white vinyl? and do you think i can do it with a budget of $1800? I think my car would be complete with a set of CV1's lol

I think this is a car chat first, two threads on the ES on the first page
We are working on it..we will have a photoshoot on this one soon. Its a market I personally want to really expand into.
For $1800, I doubt it....but I agree CV1s on the ES would be SICK
If you do it let me know and if you are lowered too we would try to set up a photoshoot!
