Post New BMW 6-series convertible officially unveiled. Priced

Big luxury convertible sedans are about my least favorite car, but my personal preferences aside I gotta admit the new 6 series convertible is a a sexy mother, and a vast improvement on the last generation abomination.

Can't wait for the M6 version (or at least an Msport version) which should have more aggressive front ends (my only issue with this design).

That looks so much better than the current 6-series. BMWs are starting to look better nowadays

I looked at these pictures for a long time last night and can't quite put my finger on what I don't like. Perhaps it's the 3 coupe-esque line that runs down the side of the car...I think it's just too long and this is a big car. The front end isn't necessarily "doing it" for me either.

There are some elements that I like but as a whole, this falls flat for me. Additionally, IMO, this looks to be another horrible/hideous 6 Series interior. The current car is borderline unacceptable for a 70k+ vehicle and this new one really doesn't look much better.

It is horrible. Front end from a SUV, sides are from another car and then it still has a softop. The interior is stylish and seems better done than the last model but the nav screen looks too big amazingly.

I'm happy they sell it but XK8 for me all day over this.

I love it!

Better than the previous generation. Still big and still a ragtop, but it'll be a bullet.

I imagine that if a huge 6-Series had a hardtop, the trunk would be sooo big that it would look like a Panamera, or **gasp** a Nissan Murano convertible.

The front end is a mess.

That's exactly how not to do the front hood cutline, looks really cheap. The metal should go all the way to the grill, like a Mercedes or Lexus for example.

^^^
hehe yeah

Lol @ soft-top.

However
I'll give them credit for other good things about the car

And holy ****, that's one huge-*** screen.

P.S.
They say Tom Cruise will use this car in next year's Mission Impossible movie...

^^^ Mission Impossible for them to design a good looking car again. I'm tired of the SUV/huge snouts ruining the fronts ends.

I really hope the next SC doesn't look weird.

Oh my...

The butt is an improvement over the current one but I absolutely HATE all BMW's new front end (super sized kidneys?), 7, 5, X5, X3 with the exception of the current 3 coupe.

the rear end of the current 6 is a mess so this at least addresses that.
