Although it is not a famous exotic collector car that worth a lot of money, in the Japanese car's world, it is an extremely rare and very cool car, especially here in the U.S., the fact that it was sold in the U.S. offically is a miracle. It is the predecessor of the Lancer EVO, but much more rare.
update: Got alot done. Installed all new coolant hoses as the stock ones where really brittle. New thermostat installed and replaced the turbo coolant lines as they where really rusted.
Also I have picked the wheels I am going with.
Volk TE37V in bronze. 17 8.0 25 offset. Here are some pics of them on different cars.
We are taking a break from working on the car today. Thought I would update the thread while I cool down. I think I lost 10lbs today. So hot in Florida.
Bumber and fenders back on. Installed the front suspension and brakes.
this car is going to be amazing! the Volks are a great choice too...
after all the mechanical stuff is complete, are you doing paint?
Well the front bumper and fenders are painted new. The hood will be next. The rest of the paint is still good. I plan on doing a full detail on the car when she is running again. So she should shine really nice.
Thanks for the kinds words guys. I have but alot of time into the car and it is great to see it coming together. I ordered the wheels on Friday. TE37V 17 8.0 25 offset. Just have to wait 2-3 months to get them in.
