I think it's great. It doesn't follow the status quo of coupe styling themes and still looks good. A stylish and unmistakable shape. How many cars can you say that about?

It's always funny to me when people cry out at the lack of originality in designs and when confronted with something unique and original they tear it t pieces.

I like the idea of the CTS coupe, but I don't find it that original. It's typical of what happens when designers try to make a coupe out of an existing sedan design (or vice-versa for that matter). Basically, Caddy just tried to force the 4-door into a 2 door.

Too me, the same thing happened in reverse to the Porsche Panamerica. The tried to stretch the 911 shape into a sedan. So it just looks off.

Caddy would have been better off with more of a 'clean slate' approach, and just picking up styling cues from the CTS along the way.

Well, that's definitely a possibility... especially since they need to share enough of the platform to keep it a CTS in both look and running gear.

But BMW does it well with the 3 series. And Infinity as well with the G coup/sedan (though those are really two different cars)

Not bad, not great, but not too bad. Worse looking cars out there.

It's just ok, of course the CTS is the best-looking Caddy but that's not saying much. Still too much Escalade-derived styling elements for my taste in sporty passenger cars.

i think it looks rubbish. They should have gone with this design like insisdeline illustrated. The design looks perfect!

Although it does "look" like the illustration, the actual coupe still doesnt.

I agree with most others here, I like the styling of the sedan better, and I am usually a coupe fan.

Just like the panamera, car looks great until you get to the back

^^^If they used the XLR diet-rear end, it would look alot better

Quality? Guess again.....the CTS-V just like the previous model has been plagued with quality issues and TSB's. Go over to the CTS-V forums and search for five minutes and see for yourself. Price? I wouldn't call a 70K plus luxury sedan "best" in terms of price. I will give you performance and little else...not to mention the car gets 12 mpg!

I think they really dropped the ball on the coupe! I really like the 4 door CTS-V, and I had high hopes for the coupe. But the production version is so damn ugly!
