Metallic Purple Bentley CGT SuperSport
Custom ordered one off Continental GT SuperSport. Official name is Grey Violet. Really cool color! I love it.

Rolls-Royce, though, being a very low-volume automaker (and charging the very high prices it does) allows cars to be custom-ordered in any color. Apparantly, (maybe) Bentley does, too.

Subaru offered a (true) gray-violet Amythist color on the early-mid-90's Impreza, and then dropped it. So did Cadillac, on the early-90s DeVille....but with a slightly more grayish-tint. From what I understand, Subaru still offers that color in some non-U.S.markets. (I would have chosen it for my Outback if it was still offered)
Lexus once offered, on the SC, what it CALLED Amythist (I know you remember that one, Andrew)...but instead of being a true Amythist grey-violet, it was, instead, a very deep, dark purple. The color on the thread-topic Bentley is more of a true Amythist.

I like the paint color (case in point: the SC430's Twilight Amethyst), but for a massive car like the Continental, it's a lot of purple. A lot.
I feel that it's too brash and garish. There is massive expanses of purple. Perhaps I just want a hint of purple, rather than all-out purple. That's all...

a unique paint color that suits this bentley well. when i think of phantom, i think of a rich dark purple or a seductive black. the only thing i would change is the color name- grey violet. i was hoping for something more exotic in a fanciful name, especially for bentley.
