The exterior is hideous! As for the interior. I see some alcantara and it would have been nicer all in one colour and not two tones.

It looks kind of funny. The current 6 series coupe is perfect the way it is. The same goes for the 3 series coupes. They need to change all of the sedan's exteriors though.

Wow, that is disappointing. So many of BMW's new designs are SO uninspired and extremely bland. This makes the previous-gen 6 look exciting in comparison. Dissapointing effort from BMW .

It's as if BMW is competing with Audi to have the blandest lineup possible.

That's true. All of the BMW and Audi sedans I see look pretty bland. Although, I did see a really clean Audi sedan once, I have no idea what it is.

BMW needs more exciting designs like the old school 8 series or the previous generation's sedans.

That LED removal photoshop looks good. Makes the front end look smaller and it looks more like an evolution of the last 6-Series's headlights. Not sure how the coupe is gonna turn out, but I thought the cabriolet turned out fantastic when I saw it at the Detroit Auto Show.

R U the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe?

BMW has previously confirmed that it plans to build a production version of the 6 Series Gran Coupe Concept that it unveiled at the 2010 Beijing Motor Show, and these plausible-looking patent filings appear to give a glimpse at the car's final design. Much like BMW's latest batch of concept cars – the M5 and 6 Series Coupe, notably – the "finished" product doesn't stray too much from the original concept car, save, of course, the traditional dumbing-down of air intakes and wheel sizes.

The 6 Series Gran Coupe is expected to slot in between the BMW 5 Series and 7 Series in terms of both size and price, and will likely use the same range of turbocharged 6- and 8-cylinder engines that we see in those models. While not as overly swoopy as its competitors, the 6 Series Gran Coupe will be poised to do battle with the Audi A7 and Mercedes-Benz CLS for 4-door coupe luxury supremacy.
