Well which one. Kind of odd to think Benz has made 3 supercars as of late and BMW hasn't made one, ever.

I voted for the SLS. I've seen a few on the roads here and it's much more striking in person than in the media photos.


On a side note, there was a recent exhibition at the Mercedes Museum grounds of their many racing and performance cars/prototypes. I didn't attend the show but I remember a few from the posters that were all over the city.

The C112 seems particularly interesting. Gullwing door design, extremely flat and very light - would have made quite a supercar during its time.

this is really tough..... in terms of exclusivity, probably the slr or the sls is a better choice. but honest imho i think both of them look horrible (ugly is the world). and the sl black looks so much better. but with the sl black, somehow it still spells a bit of the normal sl, lacks the exotic feel.

ah tough..... maybe i will choose the slr

Slr. Under rated performance, full carbon fiber body, can handle tons more power modified, exclusive looks, it just looks special and exotic compared to the others. Sls looks boring to me and the black series while nice, comes off as being a regular sl with a kit.

Benz doesn't make the SLR anymore, supposedly they ended their relationship with Mclaren. And they replaced it with the SLS.

I'm really feeling the SL Black. It's got that look and feel to it, not quite supercar but performs like one in ways.

it's always been the SLR for me, even after the SLS first came out, but oddly the SLS has been seriously growing on me that i actually want it more now, so voted for SLS.

To be fair, BMW did make the M1, which may or may not be considered as a supercar depending on one's definition of a supercar. As for the 3 Benzes, I'd take the SLR as the other two are just too ugly for me.

Personally, I think Benz should have continued on with the SLR after breaking off with the McLaren people by reassigning it to the AMG guys and refreshening the front and rear facias.

Since it's no longer in production, my favorite now is the SL AMG. I know the Black was the offering by the OP but I prefer the SL AMG over the Black. That's just me. I love luxury and sport. The Black is too raw for my taste. Too over-the-top as well.

I do not like any of them. But I voted for SL Black Series because it is the least ugly among the three.

I don't think SLR & SLS even look exotic, they're just ugly, SL black series for me

In fact I would take even a regular SL63 over the the SLS and SLR even if I can pay cash for them easily.
