My wife and I want a cool "weekend car" for next year

The NSX always seems like the car a lot of enthusiasts would love to have, but never want to spend the money on it. The are a bit pricey considering their age/power IMO. Still a fan, I just wouldn't dish the cash out for one unless it was like a 3rd or 4th car.

When I was looking at 91-94's back in the early 2000's the prices were all around $32-$40K. Check what the going rates are for those same years today. A bit cheaper but not much.

Oh yes, I agree. Resale value is steady as a rock. Most people will still compare what you can get for the same price though. It's a shame that Acura build so many great products and let them die slowly.

I would suggest driving a 96 / older and a 97 / newer NSX and see if you miss the difference in the engine and then adjust your budget appropriately
There was a gem of a 97 blk/blk NSX in SoCal that got sold for 38-37k. I think that's a good info point on price.
GL and let us know what you do.

Not sure now...I was in-line to do this next year with my wife but I may want to get into buying income-producing assets before I spend anymore money on "want" items like this. Now, if I can get into something that could produce passive income continuously from now til then...then I a definitely in for one; most likely an NSX. Seems like it's a great car!

For about 1/2 you're thinking of paying, you can get a closet rocket - Crossfire SRT vert, which is essentially a Benz SLK.
There are tons on the market, mostly all low miles, and they haul ***. Not good for tall folks - only like 42" of legroom and the ride is harsher than a Carrera, but it will spank most everything out there, both in a straight line and twisties.
the other car I would strongly consider is a Boxster S. You should be able to get a decent one for your $30k budget.
Good luck!
