According to GRMN's official website the car weighs 990kg, or 2,183lbs, which is 40kg more than the regular iQ's 950kg (2,094lbs). Still a decent increase in power-to-weight ratio though.

So did anyone ever actually find out what happened that day? Any clues??? Even if some did know him personally I am sure many more of us would like to know what happened.
Its kind of weird that nobody has any facts or info.......

I'm sure the test car must've had cameras and data logger installed with footage and telemetry of what happened recorded but it's just that Toyota chooses not to release them in public.

I looked at photos of the crash online and in the end it looks a lot worse than I initially thought. I was surprised to see he had a helmet on and the crash was still fatal. It was a big one. R.I.P

Remember the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. he died with a helmet on...hence the mandatory implementation of the Hans device on all helmets in the major motorsports circuit.

This June will be the mark of 10 Years since Master Narusen-san passed away.
I'm not sure whether if The Late TMC Master Driver - Hiromu Naruse ever did tested the 4th Generation Lexus GS (which recently I just bought second-hand) during it's development or not. But I'm sure his work ethic and passion for car perfection influence the engineers who develop it and every other who work for Lexus and Toyota.
