1. Idiot driver behind the wheel of the accord.
2. Trucks, especially empty ones, have ENORMOUS amounts of torque and power spread across the entire power band. Get a driver behind the wheel who knows how to utilize this, and ******,not grab, gears like they are going out of style and it don't take much. I, myself, have clearly gotten the jump on a few cars at a stop light, when empty, from a dead stop. I wasn't racing them or anything, but you could see by the look on their face, that they was not expecting me to get off the light and move that quickly.
Yeah,, by all rational means, the accord should have eaten him, but if you get an experienced drived behind the wheel of a truck that knows how to bump the power band, it would be one heck of a race. Not to mention, the stretch where they were was not really long to begin with

I am still amazed that the car didnt win. I know the trucks have insane torque but they have to row through so many gears its crazy. Its like every 5 mile and hour increment they have to shift ( off the line)
