Actually it's about a $30,000 price difference.

Starting price for a E 550 is $56,300 and the starting price for a E63 is $87,750

I saw the new M in person, and IMHO it still looks like an oversized G37, with a bit of Maxima styling cues mixed in. I found it blended in with traffic quite easily.

The E-Class IMHO is stunning in person, much more than in pics. It has a real presence that a midsize premium luxury sedan should have.

You've got it all wrong. Hyundai models look like Benz and Infiniti vehicles (among other brands), not the other way around.

Why give credit where it isn't due?

Arguably the weakest point of new M is the rear but that can be changed very easily by just rearranging LED cluster. Even without changing the shape of taillights.

In this chop clear line that goes trough taillight simply follows body curves and blends in within trunk shape to make it a lot more fluid design.

Finally it came to their heads that these elephants of cars can't be sports cars?
The most manufacturers can do is to give you direct steering input, fast 0-60 times and no bodyroll to give you confidence that you are driving something sporty. And that's a good thing I am all in for that but just don't look for an Evo in these cars because there is no need for such thing.

Who would have thought that GS had it right all along
Amen give these cars a confident road stance and most importantly RIDE QUALITY! 60k plus means I should not feel a bump in the road or the tranny shift period!!!!. I'm happy the sporty evo trend in the luxury cars are dieing.
