I love Scion's products but tend to agree that Toyota would have been better off not bringing in a new brand.
As others suggest, the same cars badged as Toyota's would have sold a lot more. A lot of people are actually turned off by the Scion image even if they like the cars.
Now Toyota may face the embarrassment of having to kill a brand in the future. That would be something very uncharacteristic of a company with such a successful run.
Scion was an obvious decision made by US Toyota officials. Notice in all other markets, Scion's models are Toyota badged although with different grills.
Anyway, can't wait to see the new tC!!
