Only a couple of people in this world would probably be able to take that kind of driving in only 3 1/2 years in any car. Lexus LS, Maybach, RR, MB S-Class, whatever...

I'm with you on that...........not that there's anything wrong with a Yaris. Except for the center-mount gauges/controls which I'm not a fan of, it's an excellent small car. But almost any car, to me, would get start to get boring after about 4-5 years. Even some of the cars I grew up with and/or have such fond memories of, I don't think I'd want to drive forever....though, even so, it's a real shame the Saturn S-cars are gone. I'm usually ready for a new car after about 5 years or so.

I know my fiancee and I LOVE our (her) Yaris sedan. For super long road trips, the only thing I would ever change... get some better seats. Any more than 3 hours or so, and my butt goes numb. We regularly beat the crap out of the EPA standard in that thing. Get 40MPG a lot of the time. Got 50 once on the way back from W Illinois.
It's been a trouble free, easy to mess with little car!

Update: 450,000 Miles.
As we can see, he is no longer driving for a living which is why it has taken this long to go just 50K more. Too bad, because I was hoping he'd go a million.
Here are new pics of the car at 450K. Amazing!

He has repainted the front bumper once. For much of the early miles, he did have a black bra on it.

The small tires would scare me the most, and likely the brakes are not designed for speeds like that. But it is nice to see the Toyota hold up so well with so many miles.

That's just awesome. If my ES 300 didn't get rear-ended I'd probably be at 450,000 miles as well.
