Thing is... from the trailer you can see TRON is now the bad guy.

When I was watching the trailer... it felt like a mix of Dark Knight and Matrix

I can't wait to hear the Daft Punk soundtrack

I think Disney pulled out all the stops for this movie.

Actually, as I remember it, Tron was the character played by Bruce Boxlietner in the original. It's Jeff Bridges' character, Kevin Flynn, who is now some kind of villain who rules over the computer world.

The original Tron was revolutionary at the time it was released and the lightcycle race was one of the highlights of the film. Can't wait to see the new version of that.

Looks good. I definitely want to see this and hope that I actually watch it in a theater. As much as I remember loving the original Tron, I just can't sit through it these days.

I know what you mean. But it's all there in the trailer so nothing is really spoiled. And it would be worth it to see the first movie before seeing this one.
