I wouldnt say he copied. The car looks cool just like the old bimmer.

I would say "inspired" not copied

If that's real rust on both cars, you can tell the BMW's rust has more quality.

Based on the stripped appearance of the rust on the bimmer I would say the car rusted in an environment with heavy rain. The CRX probably rusted in a drier place. Thats my hypothesis

See, on a Civic I'm going to assume it's real rust and that the guy just leaves the car outside w. oodles of salt water on it.

p.s. ... love this \/

yup.............. you could light it on fire and it wouldnt look any worse. I can imagine what 99.9% of drivers on the road would say or think when they saw the CRX or the bimmer in the lane next to them

TETANUS SHOT STAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone notice that the wheels on both cars are worth more than the cars themselves. Kind of ghetto

That's fine if the rust is only on the outer-body sheet metal, but driving a unibody car like that could be unsafe if the rust has gotten down to the unibody metal itself...the car's structural integrity could be compromised. Since some of the undersides, and areas below the sheet metal seem to be well-painted, I hope that has not happened.
