Leaked: 2011 Shelby Cobra GT500
HATE the wheels (please God, not these)... but another 10HP increase
However, the 412HP 2011 Mustang GT is the better buy at $20K cheaper!!!!

I was gonna say, the new GT is a much better buy. I don't really see the point in the Shelby anymore. A GT is $30k and probably with about $5K in mods someone could be meeting/beating the Shelby.

Maybe in relative terms.
I don't bad-mouth the Mustang like so many people do, because it actually handles pretty well for what it is, and it a pretty good car overall.
But let's not kid ourselves, the Mustang (in any form) doesn't qualify as a driver's car.
The Shelby is horrifically overpriced and outclassed. I'd much rather have a base, unoptioned Corvette than a GT500.

Hey Bags, my Vette guy called yesterday... now deep discounts are starting on the 2010 Z06s because of the GS popularity...

The Premium model with leather, upgraded stereo, and nicer trim bits will be closer to $34K.
Options include HID headlights (on the Premium only), glass roof for $2000, 3.73 rear end for around $350, Brembo brake and wheel package for like $1700.
Without question, the 2011 Mustang (even with the new V6 Performance Pack) will be an all-around respectable car in terms of style, performance, quality, features, and value.

Ive had many modded mustangs and lightings and there the best bang for the buckout there with a ported supercharger 3k and and tune your in the high 10s all day in the gt500 you cant stay that for any other cars. I have a tt70 mustang now. I love the new gt500 and you can find a used one for 45k
