To be honest, even though the new RX is fantastic in almost every regard, and the 03 ES has proven to be a rock solid and bulletproof car, I'm loving my used 01 ES and have to say it's my favorite of the three Lexus's. There's something about the interior and exterior styling, the reliability and just the right type of options and features for it's price class that make it one of the best cars IMO.

But the Cadillac is my favorite of the four by far, which is why we decided to keep it even though it's a completely unnecessary 4th car. I'll get some more detailed exterior and interior pics up this weekend, it's a very classy car.

Might I inquire as to why you have two ES's out of curiosity? Why not spring for an IS or GS?

I actually wanted a 2nd gen GS430 but they're pretty rare in my area, I couldn't find one within 200 miles that had even decent mileage, and I was willing to go as far as NYC. The GS was my first choice actually, I even would have settled for a GS400 but couldn't find one of those either.

The IS is too small for me and other family members. I looked into it and it wasn't a viable option.

I thought about a 1st or 2nd Gen LS but that was pretty similar to my Seville so I passed.

I wanted something different from what I have and we have always loved everything about our 03 ES so the 01 ES I found with low mileage and in excellent condition was perfect for my needs. The price was also great. Too good to pass up basically.
