Lexus GX 460 to debut on November 23, 2009 at Guangzhou Auto Show

- LEXUS' Stellar Cast will be All Dressed-up for 2009 Guangzhou Auto Show
[November 13, 2009. Beijing] The 7th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition will open at Guangzhou's China Import and Export Fair Complex from November 23 – 30, 2009. During this week-long show, top global luxury brand LEXUS will be presenting a total of 12 production models from its ten series of luxury cars. It will also premiere its mid-sized luxury SUV GX460, the first time the luxury car maker has chosen China for a worldwide launch.
The theme for LEXUS at this exhibition is "Innovation. Intelligence. Future", and LEXUS aims to present to every visitor their all-new luxury product offerings, intelligent drive friendly designs and the LEXUS Hybrid Drive, the technology that will lead the future. For the show, not only will LEXUS feature a stellar cast of its flagship models - all dressed up for the grand occasion, but will also feature display areas for the LEXUS Hybrid Drive and LEXUS G-BOOK, letting visitors enjoy a truly hands-on experience.
LEXUS has always recognized the importance of the China market and the needs of its customers. Since 2009, LEXUS has successively launched the luxury hybrid GS450h sports sedan, the luxury SUV RX350, the luxury hybrid SUV RX450h, the all-new hardtop sports convertible IS300C and the luxury sedan ES240 – the first of its smaller models for the China market –. A world premiere at the show – the mid-size luxury SUV GX460 - is yet another much anticipated new model.

I think they did that so they could use HID. Lexus never put HIDs on their larger SUVs because they didn't want to blind other drivers. If lowering the projector is what it took than I'm all for it.

Nice, the Los Angeles of China. Wow China is making more and more international headline news, this is so interesting. I wonder how long it will be before they over take the United States.
And for people commenting on the next GX, I will reserve my opinions for when actual production ready car is revealed. Too many of you guys are basing your opinions off of some crappy photochop off the web. I believe in Lexus.

I'd like to see a GX350 featuring the DI 3.5L. I think that there are alot of people out there who buy this car and don't need that much power. Might as well save the gas where we can, though the 4.6L is an improvement over the outgoing.
