The only thing I might suggest is don't leave a deposit. If the car is super hot, you leaving a deposit probably wont stop it from getting sold to someone who walks up with cash in hand and says "I'll take it".

Good to hear you got your money back.
Keep looking for that right GS. You might be able to get an 07 for the same price if you can wait for a while longer.
