[QUOTE=DOVE;4944227]Having some experience with supercars, I'd take a Porsche over almost anything. They're well rounded and polite when you need them to be, and ***** to the wall fun at your command. Service isn't a killer and it seems like the people that work for Porsche are true enthusiasts.
Especially if this will be your only car & you have to keep it for several years.
Most people that own Porsches become enthusiasts unless they buy for looks.

I'll take the 998, please.
Supercars have lost their appeal to me over the years. They just are not what they used to be. While technically superior to their predecessors, most of them have become too refined and sterile, losing some of there soul. The Japanese are especially guilty of this with the GT-R and soon to be LF-A. High-speed techno-wonders that they are, they've lost that brutish, stripped-down, racecar for the street feel of supercars of the past.
The Lambo and Prancing Horse offerings still have some of that feel to them, at least. And I'd love to own either, but they are limited in their use. Can't really make a daily driver out of either.
The Porsche, for me is the best of the bunch for real world enthusiasts. Traditionally, they are fairly bulletproof, and have 3-decades of racing behind the 911 platform to back it up. You can drive it daily with no problems, yet take it to the track, and it still has that visceral, animalistic feel to it. It's not temperamental and fragile like the Italians, nor does it have the electronic disconnect of the Japanese. At the track, it still feels like a proper racecar.
Now throw in some older stuff, like a Ferrari F-40, or McLaren F1, and that's where I'll sway...

Uhh.... I included the LP 560 in there. Just the Superleggera version which will be a more lighter sportier version like the Scuderia for the f430.
Damn I forgot to include the SL 65 AMG Blk Series in there.

If I had to choose from the list it would be the 458 Italia - it's strikingly beautiful.
And then I'd sell it and would get something truly exotic like a BMW M1, Ferrari 288GTO, Porsche 959, Acura NSX or even R33 Skyline!
