I have been really noticing the beautiful panoramic glass roofs of a limited number of the ES sedans I am seeing on the road and I have to say I think its got to be the coolest option on the car . I am very jealous that the GS doesnt have such a feature. I love the idea of the extra light inside the car and the open feel it must help to provide. They need to add this feature to every single Lexus sedan, coupe/convertible, and even the SUVs.


What do you guys think about the panoramic roof idea for Lexus cars as a feature?????

I agree, I'd love to see the panoramic roof added to the GS and LS as an option!!! Also perhaps different variations in the types of roofs.

Also it's worth mentioning that such a roof has been offered on the 2RX, and 3RX, but it's quite rare in the U.S. I personally have only seen the glass roof 2RX once in SoCal.

Toyota put it on a Scion so why can't they put it on all Lexus as a option???

Since I am usually the driver, it won't make too much difference to me, although it's nice when I sit at the back, when I was riding in the E/S-class and the 2RX.
So yes, they should have it in the future GS & LS too ...

I've noticed a few ES models with the option, certainly looks good from the outside. But does it do much in giving passengers a bigger opening with the roof opened up?

I agree, more Lexus sedans should have it. Hopefully the 4GS gets it.

Offer it as an option anyways. Base or sport package models can do without it. Make it a stand-alone option or part of some premium luxury package.
