The new Challengers don't look as good as the 1970's Challengers, but looks pretty good still. It's crazy how they got everything to look exactly the same. Same wheels, mirrors.

Actually those are aftermarket wheels. Back in the '70's the stock wheels were either ralley, magnum, or steel w/police hubcaps. Some of the 6cyl or 318 cars also came with stylized steel hupcaps.

But I agree the new Challengers sure do capture the image of the old. I speak from experience having an original one sitting in my garage for over 25years...

Guys........I'm tempted. I knew that a limited model run was coming in purple, but didn't know just when.

I grew up with the original Challenger. And that was my favorite automotive paint color of all time.

Chrysler products, in general, though, are just so poorly built. I reviewed a Challenger R/T last year, and was generally unimpressed with it. I'd look like an idiot if I criticized their build quality, recommending that other people avoid them, and then went out and bought or leased one myself. Also, Chrysler's future is uncertain, even with Fiat ownership.

lol, should I decide to relive my teenage years and drive around in an oversized, overweight, Barney-mobile, now I've got the top choice.

Also be wary of unsolicited advances from scantily clad big chested blonde women, often unreliable & no warranty
