Clear Bra on a Lease?

Clear Bra on a Lease?
What's everyone opinion regarding clear bra on a lease car? My IS350 had an AeroTect clear bra on it and it was great. I just picked up a black 370Z and now I'm debating to clear bra it or not since it's a lease (39 months).
What's everyone's experience on returning a lease car with "normal" rock chips? From my understanding regular rock chips would be considered normal wear and tear.
I am **** with my car but I also wouldn't mind spending the $650 somewhere else...

I'm very **** about rock chips and have clear bra w/full hood on my other car and g/f's IS350 but would never consider it on a lease...
With that said, my g/f previously had a black G35 coupe and in two years that hood was chipped to hell. She had all kinds of chips and pits on the front end so if you are going to get it spend a little extra and do the full hood.

I did it because I want to have a clean looking car throughout my lease term (39 months). I couldn't stand driving around with a car full of paint chips, but that's just me.

a bit off topic, but I know lexus doesnt really care what you do to the car as long as you buy another lexus from them. I heard this before, and it worked for me too. They also dont care about mileage, so dont bother buying extended miles for the lease.

Paint chips are wear-n-tear. Dings and scratches are not. I wouldn't clearbra a lease vehicle with no intention to buy. Why help Lexus keep the car clear for the next guy? Save your $600 towards down payment for next Lexus.

Pass on the clear bra, I think Nissan has improved the paint quality to a much improved level on the 09+ Maxima and 370Z, my 06 Max looked like I drove behind a gravel truck, my 09 with 6000 miles looks brand new, and that was not the case with my 06, also keep in mind Nissan uses white primer
Whatever u do to the lease, just make sure you don't lose to much when you hand it back, and please change the oil, I've come across far to many idiots who lease and don't change the oil, you burn a ton of excess gas when you decide to change the oil once halfway through the lease, and it's bad karma for the next guy who ends up buying the car (this is a general statement, not directed at the OP, but to anyone who leases or knows those who lease, they are out their)

dude if its black you need it. I say do it unless rock chips are forgiven. I would still do it because if not in a couple of years your hood will look like a starry night

small chips are no problem on lease, it's part of wear and tear. if you have scratches and dents that's another story. i hate to say, but seriously i don't care much about my leased cars. i drive them, but it's like a rental... i won't trash it, but i won't baby it like i own it
RXSF, hahaa you sure? my gs350 is going to be like 20k over mileage, can i return it if i am getting the gs-f?
