Default I love the Venza!

I must admit that there is just about nothing on the Toyota lot that interests me very much except one vehicle. The Venza. This car is sharp. I'm a car guy, meaning I prefer a sedan or coupe, so there's always an element of compromise and less appeal with a CUV or SUV no matter how well done. But the Venza appeals to the car guy in me. In fact, if I were buying a new car today pretty much two cars would top my list, The Nissan Maxima and, you guessed it, the Toyota Venza.

From a styling standpoint I find that it is more Lexus than even the new RX. I love the low height coupled with the wide stance. The big 20" rims and when decked out with the panorama sunroof this car is pretty damn sexy.

I may buy one. That's how much I'm smitten by this car. It's the best thing Toyota sells as a Toyota. Can I get an Amen?

Amen!!! preach preach!!

I agree, its the ONLY Toyota that remotely interests me that is not a hybrid. Seen quite a few recently and they look pretty good overall.

I definitely agree with you there. Ever since I first saw one, I thought it was a great looking vehicle. I'd definitely consider owning one once my family needs to get a new car.

The Venza is a great compromise between the vanilla-flavored Camry and the soccer-mom-in-mind Highlander.

I'd get one if I needed a family car...

I might get one and I don't need a family car, it's plenty attractive.

From the outside.

This is certainly one of the best, if not the best Toyota products.

However, the interior quality and finish is nowhere near Lexus standards. I too was quite impressed with what it looked like from the outsided. The fascination ended once I actually sat in one.

If Lexus was to build this with an upscale interior it would be a hit. But they would never do it, as it would eat into once of their best selling vehicles sales.

I agree; it would probably be on my Top Five list (especially a Lexus version, if they could keep it under 40K) if I were in the market right now. But the 19" and 20" wheels, IMO, are absurd......I don't know what Toyota was thinking when they stuck those on this type of vehicle.

Nice car for sure. IMO the 19" and 20" wheels are all part of the successful look and there's plenty of tire sidewall since they spec'ed the large diameter tires and shorter gearing in the initial design (did it right). Venza's are selling well around here.

I like it too I don't like the giganto grill on the front but everything IN the car is fantastic. If future Toyota interiors are built as well as the Venza they will be set.

A Lexus version, hybrid or not, would also be nice. I don't think that it would steal very many sales from the RX, seeing that the RX is a different, taller, more SUV-like vehicle, where the Venza more closely approximates the Subaru Outback/Volvo XC70/Audi All-Road, conventional AWD raised wagons.
