So i assume you cant park in parking lots between cars and open the door enough to get out?

umm, you're right that's a big door for most parking spaces.
Good news they were able to keep the b-pillar in place to make getting in and out even more difficult

I saw a Neon this past weekend with scissor doors (think Lambo). I thought it was cool, if an odd choice to do it to, until I realized what a complete hack it was. He had to swing the doors down to a normal level, and then swing them horizontally closed as if they were regular doors.
