^^ IMO the Venza looks great, great proportions. The Grill is the main problem. It doesn't look "cheap" but rather butch and well matched.

OK.....each to his own. I'll admit the Venza has better proportions than the Crosstour (especially in the rear), but it still doesn't fit my definition of "Great", style-wise.

(But, then, neither does the new 2010 Outback, yet it is still high on my new car-possibility list)

Oh great, that means it'll top out near $40k in Canada. Even the EX-L 4WD will be near $37k. I like the fact that the Venza comes with a 4 cylinder version. At Cdn$33k for a loaded 4 cylinder AWD Venza, it's barely Cdn$500 more than our loaded 2002 Camry XLE 4 Cylinder.

I like the grille but yeah I agree the D-Pillars are too thick. Putting anything less than 19" would be being "good old predictable, conservative Toyota" so I applaud them with coming out with 19" and 20" rims (I esp. like the 20" rim design. Yes they'll be expensive to replace).

In Canada, we can get an AWD 4 cylinder Venza. It's about $2k more.

if it's no fun at all and drives like a venza, it's just one more nail into the coffin for this confused vehicle. I can't stand it but I will likely drive it just to get a feel. I am not impressed by the way the 8th gen drives and if this vehicle is somehow worse, good luck.

I have to say, even the 4-wheeled Ugg called the Prius looks better than this monstrosity.

I would get the venza before I bought one of these things. I still think a set of wheels would do it some good but its still a little odd

I was looking at this car last night on Edmunds. Very interesting car, same price as the top of the line Accord but with more options and HID light. A very good value, but like some have said, I think a Accord wagon would have been better.
