I think its going to be taking design elements from the FJ. I dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing though

The exterior doesn't bother me, but it doesn't excite me either. As for the interior, the current 4Runner managed to look rugged and have a quality, luxurious feel. I don't think I can say the same for the new one from the looks of it so far.

For now, I would rather buy the current one.

Looks like a facelifted RAV4 Limited. From the angle of the shot, it looks like the bumper is shorter (height), kinda like going back to the old 4Runner bumpers.

So far I am on the fence on the looks department? The exterior glance of the silver one Toyota posted looks tougher & boxier and the C&D pics look like its a giant scion. The white one especially concerns me looking like a lowered scion with its skirts & front lip. As for the interior, I hope all that plastic is of good quality. I was not a big fan of the Tundra sequioa interior and I hope toyota chose to use better materials this time around. This could possibly be my 4th new 4runner in a row, so I am hoping once better pics are released, I will be more enthused.

So it gives us the basic idea what the GX460 will look like seeing the GX470 was pretty much a 4Runner.
