Default *** Name a useless aftermarket product on a car ***

As much as I like this aftermarket part (actually thought of buying a set), I think it's useless/waste of money.

Way too vague of a question. Any mod can be considered a waste of money depending on your definition of usefulness.

When I had my IS350 with black interior, the cabin is a bit stark at night, especially when pitch dark.

With the door sill illumination, it made the cabin welcoming and soft, and it helps you prevent from tripping over the sill.

Fair enough...useless mod; an aftermarket part that will not enhance/improve the performance and handling of vehicle.

ANYTHING that voids the factory warranty.

That can, in some cases, include aftermarket wheels/tires, if they affect the speedometer/odometer readouts.

And, in VA and a couple of other places where they are illegal, a radar detector. In VA, they can, in some cases, be confiscated.

There are entire INDUSTRIES devoted to useless mods. Some are even unsafe from an engineering perspective like lowriders and VIP.

Agreed. And some high-performance aftermarket computer chips can not only void the warranty, but overstress the engine as well and cause it to flunk an emissions test.
