I've always said they should try to build and sell more LF-A's at a lower price rather than the rumoured $200-300K+ ...

I have said this will happen for quite a while ... & if this is the F430 replacement, it should not cost too much more than $200K even fully loaded, and if they even try to sell the LF-A for around the same price, a more limited production or not ... sigh ...

if lexus is shooting for $300k, they're shooting too high.
lexus doesn't need anything more expensive than an R8 for halo image purposes.

THE BEST looking Ferrari since the 355. There hasn't been a single truly beautiful Ferrari since but this one is getting very, very close. I absolutely love the rear 3/4 panel with the sharp peak falling into the brilliant, brilliantly integrated rear air ducts above the rear wheels. And the way the lines wrap from the front of the car, around the greenhouse, up and back down into the rear window. Some really gorgeous and ingenious use of lines and shapes on this car that make it beautiful and cutting edge, more so than any modern Ferrari before it. And the fun straight triple exhaust, a callback to the F40. Awesome! Still, the front has me scratching my head a little bit...

Agreed with both. Build and sell more LF-A at lower cost and THEN having established this line of cars build some super "halo" car down the line.

Now that the 458 has been unveiled, the LF-A looks just downright ugly next to it. Everyone's buzzing about the 458 now...the LF-A has lost some of its steam LOL!
With only 500 units planned for the LF-A you have better chance getting the Ferrari which not only looks so much better but probably has similar performance.
If they're going to keep the LF-A at that ridiculous price then they should go back to the drawing board and redesign the thing. Otherwise make more and offer them at a lower price
