Owner of 94 SC400 who just drove a 08 IS250 loaner...
I want a new car.
The seat cooler is a gift from the gods. I love the way it cools my ***** on a hot and humid day. I have never experienced something so orgasmic while driving an automobile. If I had to choose between a 500 hp rust bucket and a underpowered new car with a seat cooler, i'm going to go with the latter.
Plus...I have spent thousand and thousand of dollars just to reach the level of comfort/handling/sound quality of a stock IS. I am buying a new car within the next 6 months, though it is very unlikely it will be a IS.

I agree, I thought they were a gimmick until I got them in a loaner.
