I think anything matte is more susceptible to stains, even my black plasti dipped wheels would easily stain

I plastidipped a grill on one of my cars and it has held up just fine. But that's just a single part that can easily be redipped at home at a cost of a few dollars. Here we're talking about watching out for stains on an entire vehicle, and that sounds like it could be costly should you need to rewrap a panel if it is stained by something common like bird poop.

Anyways, I'm just curious as to the durability of said wrap, as I've thought about wrapping a car myself...

Hey bud, sorry been slammed recently and I simply don't find the urge to post here as much.

Matte white is literally the worst color wrap you can get b/c of the fact it stains and it simply won't come out. The car is garaged and not driven much (until a recent roadtrip) and and it is stained. Even hitting a bug at high speed on matte white can leave a mark if its big enough. Dirt can get in it and you are advised only to use soap and water and nothing with chemicals in it. I''ve had it since November and it is still in great shape but stains are visible. Most wraps have a 3-5 year warranty.

There have been no rips or tears in the wrap due to rock chips etc. If you go with a gloss or other color you should be fine with stains.

A cool thing about the matte is you can literally hose the car and all the dust/dirt just flows off.

Mike, my guy did one of the best jobs you could do. BEWARE OF ****TY WRAP JOBS. Too many shops now offer wraps and they cut and take short cuts and it looks like crap or they cut your actual paint as they are cutting the wrap instead of actually "WRAPPING" it. Brian literally took off every body panel he could to wrap the GS. Took longer but I have NEVER been asked is it wrapped.

Overall I love it and I would do matte white again or this new satin pearl matte white that debuted at SEMA and my buddy has on his G25. It is matte but with a slight sheen and it looks amazing. I'm even thinking red next time.

In any case Mike it looks sweet (except for the stripe, lol). I previously noticed the wrapped car in your sig and thought, wtf is that car? It looks like your new GS has the same Vossens, right? That one looks great too!
