VW CC: I want it with COLORS
So I think the VW CC is a cool car and wanted to build one online....
I was choosing the colors....or lack there of
you get like 3 shades of white/silver/grey.
no nogaro blue like on the S4, no cranberry red like on the Touareg, no colors!

Here. I went over the whole car, stem-to-stern, last week. See if this helps you make a decision:

VW is trying to go conservative with the colors(not a cost issue) and high priced with this one. I like the lines of the car personally, but I prefer premium sedans with rwd.

The Mocha Brown, though rather dull (just like the rest of the CC colors), is, nevertheless, IMO, worth a look just because it is different, and not many other cars use it. You will be somewhat unique if you choose it.
The CC, BTW, unlike many other German-designed cars, does not seem to have an extra charge for metallic/pearl paints....a good move.

IMHO, I'm so tired of seeing almost every other car around here in plain silver-gray. I know it's the "safe bet" for color choice, it certainly doesn't hurt at resale time.

Silver and gray are popular because they are neutral shades and considered "high-tech" colors in this age of......you guessed it......high tech. But, I agree, the huge number of them on the road makes them ubiquitous, to the point of being ridiculous. White is also becoming extremely popular....and White Pearl on luxury cars, which is one of my favorites.

I've heard that white pearl is a difficult color to match during minor bodywork, but I haven't heard that from a reliable/experienced bodyshop source.

and I think green needs to come back, I saw a green 2GS today and it didn't look bad.
