The site it up and it's really nice. Classical music and a RWD coupe doing donuts is cool.

I'm so glad they actually made a point of pronouncing Hyundai.

Even though they've said "Hun-day" in commercials for the last 25 years, ignorant people have continued to say....

Hon-day (the classic Honda/Hyundai combo)
Hon-die
Hun-die

So what's the pronunciation of "hyun de"? Spelling it that way tells us nothing.
In the English language, there is no sound for "hyun".

lol if you're familiar enough with the english language, yes there is a correct pronunciation of "hyun". That's how Hyundai is pronounced in korean.

But it's not "dai" but more like "dae".

Hyun - Dae

But that is not how you pronounce the company name anymore. They made the decision long ago to make it simple and keep it like "Hunday".

It's a good decision in my opinion. Lots of other common brands and words we say are not how they're supposed to be pronounced in the languages of origin.

It's all good though. So enough of how it's pronounced in korean it doesn't matter.

It's Hyundai, like Sunday.

That web site is bad *** btw.
