The GT-R without Launch Control is still a beast!
Taken from another forum:
Animal House Racing GTR just went 10.88 @133.50 today. They did not use launch control at all, run was off of idle. The setup for the GTR is:
AHR CERAMIC WHEEL BEARINGS
AHR CERAMIC PULLEY BEARINGS
AHR THERMAL GASKET SET
AHR RACE Y PIPE
COBB ACCESS PORT Tune.
93 PUMP GAS w/1 gallon 100 oct
They said they believe the car has more in her.
Slip
60' 1.858
330 4.768
1/8 7.137
MPH 106.08
1/4 10.88
MPH 133.50
Enjoy!!

Further proof that driver skill is more important than all the gadgets you can put in a car...

Misleading topic title .
MODDED GT-R without LC is a beast, and obviously that would be the case since it is modded.
Actually using LC with these mods would be very dangerous for the transmission, since even using LC on a stock GT-R can break the tranny.

Um.... yes they have. I've seen them with my own two eyes.
133mph = ~175-200hp more than stock. A voided warranty for sure regardless of LC not being used.
I bet the transmission still breaks soon enough.
