Not to mention, it came with 6-bolt mains to attach the main bearing caps to the engine block. This is OVERKILL for any road vehicle. Most cars had 2-bolts or 4-bolts (which is quite damn good already). There are only few other engine blocks at the time that came with many bolts, and that's the 1UZ-FE. 2JZ-GTEs only had 2-bolts I believe, because the block is iron so it doesn't have much of a flexing problem like aluminum blocks.

And an extra sunvisor that blocked the sun from peaking over your rear view mirror. Thats how you disntinguish aHonda from an Acura.

^^ I wish I had that visor in my GS. It was a nifty thing that actually works.

Same could be said for the 90-94 Lexus LS of that era especially since those cars had the 1UZ-Fe making 250 HP which felt more like the Legends 230 HP. Remember, this was the early 90s, not 2000+.

That was a coupe think I guess. I know I had it. Coupes also had automatic door closer actuators Also the rear 1/4 windows on the coupe rolled down as well.

The sedans had it too. I have a legend sitting on my drive way right now. Great stuff

Probably, so that basically puts it all in perspective. I never had an S or E class but I did own the SC400 and LS400 so I can only speak about those cars.

sedans dont have the door actuators or 1/4 windows. as for finding door actuators its becoming harder and hard due to the need from passengers slamming them. all you had to do was simply push the door so that it might latch and watch the door get sucked in

Ben, I believe we have yet to find out whose really is quicker but we will reserve that for a day at the track since we have never been able to solve this. As for a boat, I believe you first got a ride in my car at 120k which would resemble a caddy that is only a year old. Most recently I put a new suspension in with a new rear sway bar and strut bars so a boat is far from it.

Also the coupe weighs more then the sedan by about +100 lbs and there is nothing different in suspension from the factory. So figure that into your boat calculation.

I was actually talking about the visor

I was a regular at A-L for the duration of my previous legend ownership. My current legend is stock and will stay that way.
