Just picked up another car...
Actually,
It was given to me...LoL
It's a 1998 Civic DX 5-Speed!
Now I can combat the rising fuel costs...
It only has 153k miles on it, which is average for a 10 year old car. Hell, I can't argue, it was FREE!!!
I still have to smog it and service it...I reckon it may need some new items such as struts and so forth...I might add new lowering suspension and GSR rims to make it look better. I'm leaving everything else STOCK.
On with the pics...
You can see my SC and my Taco in this shot
Just wanted to share...

Yeah, I'm gonna slap on a big 'ol muffler, neon lights and those "JDM" stickers...hahaha....SIKE!!!
I filled this car up this morning and spent only $39.80...it was great. I wanted to yell out of excitement...everytime for the last 5 months, my fill ups were way over $40 every single time.
And what's even better? My insurance dropped $84 bucks when I added this vehicle to my fleet. I took some miles off my Tacoma and added it the Civic. Couple this and the "Multi-Vehicle" discount, they'll be sending ME a check.
I just changed the oil and flushed the brake fluid today. The only thing this thing needs is an Oil Pan reseal and a new right front C/V boot
Everything else is super clean. I can easily afford this car folks...
Believe in Karma guys...I've been an honest and courteous member of society forever now, and this is a gift that definetely reflects that. I'm truly blessed.

A month ago, I was really really close to buying a 91 MR2...I was willing to pay between 3-4 grand for a "beater" car...I'm glad I waited. Now I can maybe use that money for more mods....Maybe a nice 3" Coilover lift kit, new offroad wheels/tires for my Tacoma

150K is a lot of miles, granted, but Civics will run longer than that if you take care of them. Their average life is 200K, and many well-cared-for ones go longer than that.
