It got started quite awhile back by a few guys on Honda-Tech IIRC....

but it was a mashi-maro with a cigarette (so it didn't look as lame as the ones you posted actually...)

I'm assuming this is a 100% Asian trend?

I saw the same thing the other day. I just wanted to walk over and rip it off.

I haven't seen this before either. Usually I see them on the rear windshield with suction cups.

I've seen people to that sporadically for nearly 20 years now. Perhaps now it is more of a fashion statement or tend and back then it was just a few people here and there though. What amazes me is there really is nothing new. Every time a new trend pops up, or a new style of modding come along, if you dig back far enough you'd find people have already been there and done that.

I've never actually seen it in Vancouver, probably because what every plushy they would hand there would be rotten from all the rain and road spray in under 2 weeks ... but yes, this is rite up there with some of the dumber things i've seen.

first thing i thought: plishies dont work as drag strips ...
