German Classic Car Show (2)
Hi guys,
Here is the second part.
Check out this Dodge Charger. This is practically my dream muscle car from the late 1960s. I love the Coke-bottle design: it's just so sexy.
Two MB SL cars from the '70s one with hardtop, the other without.

Beautiful Citroen DS, just magnificent. Not many people give the French the credit they and their cars deserve.
Ford Taunus convertible
Another American classic! An Imperial luxury sedan!

I called this photo "Porsche Lane"...
I wasn't sure if this was a customized Beetle or some pre-World War II prototype. Couldn't find the owner nearby so the car remains a mystery.

"Mercedes Lane"
Audi GT - I believe this was a cheaper version of the Quattro, don't quote me on that though.
More American muscle! A yellow Corvette. That color looks surprisingly good on it too.
DKW 1000S
Part three coming up soon!

didn't the DS have hydropneumatic??
either way, like you said, the DS sure deserves more credit in terms of looks and function...you guys thought Lexus was cool with having AFS, the Citroen DS from like 4 decades ago had it too!! First car to have front disc brakes, front mid engine, fiber glass body, self leveling suspension, etc.
and that Mercedes concept car you posted in the other thread, how can you buy cars like that??

Yep, the DS had this type of suspension.
Good question. I assume in those days it was entirely possible to buy such cars if the fee was right. These days people probably think ahead more and feel that this car would be better suited in a museum. Just a guess...
