I'd much rather have a new M3 than an S5. I like the look a lot better. Now, toss it between a new M3 and a new IS-F, I think I like the F better.

I like the exterior and interior style of the A5/S5 better. Can't beat the performance of the M3 though, but I'd probably pick the A5/S5 myself just because its such a nice looking coupe.

That S5 is clean. I like the new audi's that are out including their suv. The M3 is really nice but you would probably see more M3's on the road than an S5.

LEXUS IS NOT DOING A NEW COUPE!!!
I just won't believe it until I see it.
I'm also thinking about the A5 for my next new car.....or the G37.The A5 is me though, big coupe dimensions but it really isn't that big. Like the old SC300/400.

The SC400 was huge though exterior wise. Interior it was small especially in the rear, but my old SC400 was just as large as my LS400

With $55k I probably would consider BMW M3 sedan or BMW 535i sedan. No, I wouldn't consider any Audi and any Mercedes-Benz.
