You know, I am a HUGE fan of the NSX and Porsche. What is so biased and unfair is that the 911 basically was the same thing for over 30 years, just evolved over time and people/press hailed it. That flat 6 never needed a V-8 for instance.
The NSX did get old in the tooth but it was only around 12 years in comparison and all we heard was how old it was getting and how it needed a bigger engine.
While times did get more competative in the 90s and today, still........
I am glad that resale values for the NSX tell the story, this is a VERY desirable car.

Being the Chief Creator for the NSX, he is very approachable and down to earth

I've got a question.... they say the body does it mean the chassis, under panels, body panels, everything? So does it mean it won't rust? I've been thinking about that for a long time..... if it won't rust (or hardly rust), I think it'll be my next car.... ...I hope anyways.....

The NSX had major impact in the automotive arena. It was groundbreaking in many ways. The S2000? While it was an awesome car, nothing really stood out too much. The other makers looked at the s2000 and said "not bad at all." When the NSX debut, Ferrari and other brands said "God damn we need to get our sh|t together!!"

Big Thanks for reviving this thread, talking to Gordan Murray about cars, is like talking to Tiger Woods about golf. I know alot about the NSX, but did not know it was one of the first cars with drive by wire. The NSX is so great and pure in stock form, one has to be very wise with aftermarket parts, many aftermarket tuners simply ruin the car. So if I got a NSX and had to keep it stock, I would be ok with that. Long live the NSX!

my friend had one in high school back in the mid-90's that car was just awesome, everyone got to drive it, brought it to the midnight races. Made me go out and buy an MR2 since I couldn't afford one myself.
