One of the posters on that forum says that ACS actually made a convertible and it's not a factory M3 cabrio.

why would they do that if the real version is coming out within months?

Either way, im not a fan of M3 convertibles.

Hmm..that is a german dealer demonstration plate.. M (for munich) then 06(dealer demonstration) then 231 (issue number..means nothing)


note the plate has been redrilled a million times.. typical - def is a dealer demo plate!

yeah so um.. a test mule?

Look at the background on the picture..........it sure gives you a hint that it is a homebrew vert version of it........

No idea. I can't find anything on it on the web either. I'm just going from what someone said on the other forum posted. I hate convertibles, a sunroof/moonroof will work for me, or targa.

BMW said they were introducing a dual clutch setup instead of DSG. So maybe that's their DCT.
