LOS ANGELES CA, The renowned automobile entrepreneur and vehicle designer Gerald Wiegert announced today the introduction of his latest creation - ultra-super-exotic vehicle trade named HPV for the "Vector Avtech WX-8". Gerald Wiegert, Chairman and Founder of Vector Motors Corporation, manufacturer of the Vector Avtech WX-8 ultra-supercar, announced today that the company will exhibit the Vector Avtech WX-8 at the prestigious, internationally acclaimed "Los Angeles Auto Show" from November 15th through November 24th in Los Angeles, CA.
The Los Angeles Auto Show event will be the first-ever debut of the all-American VECTOR WX-8 Hyper-Tech Performance Vehicle, and is regarded as one of the world's foremost showcase for exotic concept automobiles.

I measured that car for wheels four years ago. It's nothing but a bunch of square-section steel tubing welded together with C4 Corvette suspension and a fiberglass body draped on it. At that time the windows weren't even real, they were just gloss-black painted sections of the body. Frankly, there wasn't enough car for me to really measure, with no inner fenders, engine or anything. What a complete joke!
Gerald himself told me that for the motion shots he had four employees give it a mighty push down the street, all in the name of getting attention from the automotive media. There WAS a Viper V10 in the shop at the time, but it was sitting on a bench, having obviously been well-used and removed from a proper Viper at some point in time.
Gerald, it turns out, is both brilliant and eccentric. Brilliant for getting a bunch of investors for funding this creation, and crazy for thinking he could get away with it (again).

I had a 93 and a 96 Camaro so I see what you guys are sayiong about the resemblance........but get real! This looks waaay better than any Camaro. It's an ultra-exotic so it looks way out there. That's what Vector is all about. Extreme looks with mad power from american iron. It's exciting to me....to see someone in the game trying to make his dream work. Sorry, I can't criticize stuff like that.
