What Gas do you get?
So with all the many brands of gas out there, what do you use and why? I personally prefer shell, but with the raise of gas lately I guess 76, MObil, Chev will do. I never get Arco and today my gf told me the Arco she went to charge her a fee for debit usage and they dont take credit cards, I felt dumbfounded and furious, like what fuk. It aint the only gas station out there, why the did she get Arco gas and pay debit fee when theres plenty of stations out there that dont. Its just saying, its ok to keep doing that. Anyways yeah. I guess some minds just dont work alike all the time.
So back to the question, what gas brand/oct do you prefer and why?

As I said in the other 500 identical gasoline threads, I use Union 76's 91 octane fuel.
I think as long as it's a Tier 1 gas brand, the additives are just marketing ploys.
Also, I read that Union 76 is the only brand that uses Ethanol, so I've been loyal to 76 from my first fill-up to the latest.
But never...NEVER use any fuel with an octane rating that's less than 91.
Stop being a cheap-ass and neglect your Lexus, which has a requirement of 91 octane MINIMUM.

as long as its not cheap cheap cheap gas the major names are all basically the same. You are not going to see or feel any real differences. and if you do well its all in your head.

Shell, because all the TV ads tell me to...and if it's on TV, it has to be true.

i use Shell. V-Power!!!! I use Shell because they have a nice store with a Dunkin Donuts inside. When i fill up i always buy a couple scratch tickets. The mobil near me is a little hole in the wall, and the workers at Sunoco are haters. Shell all the way.

Is there a reason why you want to use Ethanol? (My guess is to become less dependent on foreign oil)
All the gas stations I go to have a warning saying that there may be up to 10% Ethanol in the gas.
To the topic, I use Union 76 (my dad helped formulate the non-MTBE forumla in their gas), Chevron, and Shell.

Because he is in Silicon Valley... Chevron's refinery is there... When I lived there I used Chevron as well... I figured that it was home-cooking... You know, Chevron puts better gas in their local stations than they do elsewhere... Plus the gas is fresher...
