it's funny, since engish is my second language, when i first saw the slogan, i actually had a bit hard time pronouncing it

With all the problems with the ES350 lately, I think dropping "relentless" and "passionate" is simply truth in advertising. Maybe "Meandering after perfection" would be more like it.

The most serious is tranny gear flare. Some have cold start engine rattling. And then there are more interior rattles and wind noise than should be found on a Lexus.

Here's a poll in the ES350 forum:

I've had mine in for a warranty replacement of the Nav display, but haven't had any of the other problems. If mine was totalled, I'd buy another ES350 tomorrow. It's a great car.

You're correct, Henry. There is a noticeble difference between the ES330 and the ES350 in build quality, especially inside the cabin, despite the good repair rating the ES350 got in its first year. The IS300 ( I had one for almost 5 years), in some ways, was built even better than the ES300/330....but it was not quite as comfortable to drive.

With their new F division coming out, it should be
"The pursuit to performance"

Well, how about the pursuit of RELIABLE performance? Remember, the F's will be competing with Mercedes AMG's, which deliver performance only when they are not in the repair shop.
