IIHS Top Safety Picks 2007
Congratulations to the winners! I hope this serves as a wake up call to all manufacturers. Safety isn't an 'option' for consumers anymore. This year the new criteria for testing vehicles was if they were equipped with electronic stability control or not. Unfortunately no small cars made the list.

Large car
Audi A6
Midsize cars
Audi A4
Saab 9-3
Subaru Legacy (w/optional electronic stability control)
Minivans
Hyundai Entourage
Kia Sedona
Luxury SUVs
Mercedes M class
Volvo XC90
Midsize SUVs
Acura RDX
Honda Pilot
Subaru B9 Tribeca
Small SUVs
Honda CR-V
Subaru Forester (w/optional electronic stability control)

I'll disagree with that. I live in FL, where people seem to think it's OK to tote your kids around without buckling their seatbelt. I see young kids hanging out car windows and walking around the back seat area all the time. Usually while mommie is yakking on the cell phone.
