Our dealer just sent us an invite to a "Lexus New Owners Clinic" to be given this week. They are supposed to give us a tour of service bays and talk with service people, but not much more detail than that is given. They describe it as "fun and educational". We bought the GX there last January and have done the free 6 month service with them.

They also mention they will tell us how to "interpret a service invoice", which is a bit scary if I need a class to read my bill!

Has anyone ever gone to one of these? Is it worthwhile?

I would go just to establish rapport with the service people... The more familiar the are with you (in a good way), the more likely they are to go out of their way to help should something happen in the future.

That sounds like good thinking. I'll see how long it is going to last - would be fun if they show us some of the equipment.

It's a Lexus though. Nothing ever requires service on a lexus.
