Default '07 Caprice Classic (56K Warning)

Not a bad looking car...I understand its based on the sigma platform this year. Comes as LS, LTZ, SS and Royale. A Gen VI 6.0L V8 mated to a 6-speed tiptronic comes on the LTZ, SS and Royale models and a 3.8L Ecotec V6 is optional on the Ls. IIRC, its still a 4-speed auto on the LS with the 3.8L. If only a manual model was available...

I had no idea they were bringing it back.

Another plain car that stirs no emotion from GM.

Aren't they suppose to be working on building cars people
WANT to buy?

Looks like the Optra in the front and the Vectra at the back.

Not bad. Not a fan of full size tach and speedo so far apart.

It's that way on my Fords too. I prefer the overlapping gauges style.

Looks pretty good. It also looks like strikingly similar to the new Holden Commodore as well.

Looks to me like they're taking it back to the 80s with the Caprice/Impalas. Traditionally the Caprice has been a unique/ upscale version of the Impala, and that looks to be the same here with the 6 L vs 5.3 L.

I wish they had stuck with the original nomenclature. Caprice, Caprice Classic, CC Brougham and CC Brougham LS. My pops had the last one, an '89. I used to love that car.

They are Holdens built in Australia as Chevys for the ME markets who never went for the FWD platforms.

The interior doens't look half bad... The rear end looks cheap though, like a Chevy Malibu.
