Post New Cadillac SLS for China

GM China has just introduced this Cadillac SLS, which is basically an STS stretched 4" with a revamped interior.

WOW....that interior looks 30x better than it does in the current model. Full leather dashboard(even the current SRX and upcoming CTS will have this), wonderful silver and chrome accents. The interior IMO was really holding this car back (and that 73K Fully loaded price as well ) I assume we will be getting that interior as well next year.

Looks excellent. They should revamp the interior to look this way on the USDM model (amazing that an American car company would do this ), and they should sell that vehicle here. It'd probably do pretty well against some of the other longer wheelbase sedans out there. Of course, it would be expensive as all hell though.

From my understanding, these improvments will come to America for the 2008 model.

That does look really good, they could make the shifter a little bit cooler though in my opinion.

GM needs to get rid of the ugly steering wheel. It looks strait off a truck.

Doesn't look too bad. The interior is definitely an improvement over the current model. The exterior styling, to me, seems more aesthetically pleasing in contrast to the current model as well. This model looks much sleeker

Is the new STS for the US also going to be 4" longer? I've been a fan of the new STS, but this version as stated above looks so much sleeker and elegant than the current version. Beautiful car.

The US models will supposedly have even better interiors. Looks like GM is taking their Cadillac revitlization seriously.

I doubt it. I think it's just another in the line of LWB executive cars, incl. the A6 and the 5er.

very nice, with every model, cadillac makes impressive improvements, but along with the improvements they also improve the price as well. and 70k???!!!!??? you could get a nicely loaded 5 series, e class, or the 460.

I dont think I would ever pay 70k for a cadillac no matter how nice, thats crazy. Are they trying to compete with foreign luxury??? Ive never compared cadillac with any foreign maker, for some reason in my book they arent in the same league, ive always thought of cadillac along with buick and other cars like that.

But nonetheless a very nice car, and looks like cadillac is headed in the right direction in terms of design(i would like to get something like that in the back seat for my GS!!)

edit* I too agree, the steering wheel is hideous in that car.
